The room at Cateo in Riomaggiore was fantastic! It had everything I needed, like air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a fridge. I especially loved the kitchen with an oven, perfect for cooking delicious meals. The private entrance and balcony added a nice touch to my stay. The room was also soundproof, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.
The only thing I didn't love about the room was the bidet. It's just not something I personally use or find necessary.

The room was jaw-droppingly better than expected, with all the necessary amenities including a kitchenette and a flat-screen TV. The location was mind-blowingly perfect, right in the heart of the main street and only a short walk to the beach. The host, Daniela, was super helpful and provided me with an abundance of information and recommendations. I couldn't have asked for a better experience in this amazing town.

Perfect location right in the center of town, which made it convenient for exploring and accessing amenities. The hosts were accommodating and responsive, providing helpful recommendations and even notifying us of any potential disruptions during our stay.- The room was comfortable and well-equipped with a kitchenette and fridge, allowing us to prepare our meals if needed.
The pillows were a bit too hard for our liking, but fortunately, there were softer ones available in the wardrobe. The apartment was located on the higher floor with steep stairs and no elevator, which could be challenging for guests with limited mobility or heavy luggage.

Oh, how I loved hauling my bags to the top floor. Absolutely delightful.

The location of our stay at Cateo was absolutely fantastic. Being right on the main road and just a short walk from the train station made exploring the town of Riomaggiore so easy and convenient. We loved having all the restaurants and shops right outside our door, as well as the quick walk to the ocean front. Our room on the top floor with a balcony was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was a lovely spot to hang dry our clothes on the clothing line provided. The hosts were also very accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage after check out.

We had a comfortable stay at this hotel during New Year's. The room was nicely furnished and the location was perfect, right on the main street. Despite being close to restaurants and bars, it was surprisingly quiet with the doors closed. The balcony had a lovely view and was great for drying towels. the host, Daniela, was very helpful and attentive, providing us with lots of information and suggestions about the area.
There were a few small hiccups during check-in, causing some misunderstandings. The host insisted on coming to our room for cleaning and garbage disposal, even though we preferred to do it ourselves.

My partner and I had a fantastic time staying at Cateo in Riomaggiore. We were in town for a few days and the apartment had everything we needed, including a washing machine, dishwasher, and a Nespresso machine with coffee pods. The location was perfect, just a short walk up the main street, and the host, Francesca, was incredibly helpful. She gave us a list of things to do and even warned us about a train strike on our departure day. a comfortable and well-equipped apartment with a gracious host.
Can recommend this hotel.
